Expressions of Interest are being accepted from experienced caring professionals for the provision of community mental health and emotional support. The process is as follows:

Registration of Interest

Register your interest online and please ensure that your responses include information about you to enable the selection panel to place your registration on a short-list of possible candidates. Closing date for registration is Monday 22nd April, 2019

Selection

The opportunity for individuals to undertake professional development means that competition for a place on the team is intense. If short-listed, you will undertake three online assessments administered by the Positive Psychology/Authentic Happiness movements within the University of Pennsylvania.

Acceptance

Successful applicants will be notifed early in May 2019 and contracted to deliver therapeutic interventions using the HG approach to emotional health. As part of their contract, practitioners undertake professional development in the HG approach, and deal with a case load of three clients as directed by the organisation accountable to the funding authority. Their contract will be subject to their acceptance of these conditions:

  • agreement on a completion date negotiated by the Project Supervisor
  • being prepared to undertake Professional Development as part of our commitment to the criteria set by the funding authority
  • Project Work

Members of the support team will be given a case load of three clients and access to the course materials which include worksheets, assessments, and application exercises with clients. On-going support from the Project Supervisor is always available.
