There are several factors that influence curriculum project timelines, including: 

• level of student literary skills
• availability/access to computers and Internet
• the way the hours per week are allocated
• workspace access and project storage
• the degree of integration with other learning/subjects

The avec esprit project has been designed as a nominal 100 hour semester unit, and providing the above factors are considered, it is possible to meet project objectives. The activities are approximately one per week, with additional time allowed for making the design projects, manipulating the image, and the ICT project work.
