General Information - Design Projects
avec is a 'virtual' company that links people with skills to people looking for solutions.
Expressions of Interest are being accepted from qualified and experienced individuals for the design of various interesting projects. The process is as follows:
Registration of Interest
Once you have made your project selection and read the Project Specification, you are encouraged to complete and submit this registration form. Please ensure that your responses include enough information about you to enable the selection panel to place your registration on a short-list of possible candidates. Your registration will be acknowledged within 24 hours.
Selection
The opportunity for individuals to have their skills nationally and internationally recognised means that competition for a place on the design teams is intense. If short-listed, you will undertake several online personality assessments. You will be able to use all the assessment reports even if you are not successful in gaining a place on the teams. Although you can complete these assessments in your own time, it is recommended that you complete them within two weeks.
Acceptance
Successful candidates will be offered a place on the design teams subject to their acceptance of these conditions:
- agreement on a completion date negotiated by the Project Manager
- being prepared to undertake Professional Development as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the emotional well-being of all members of the design teams.
Project Work
Members of the design teams will be sent a materials kit to enable you to produce and finish your project. Members will also be given access to the resource files which include detailed instructions, examples of previous design responses, guidance with digital imaging, and assistance with your presentation to the review panel. On-going support from the Project Manager is always available.
